2017 Christmas & Volunteer Recognition Party

On Monday, December 4, 2017, Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County held its annual Christmas and Volunteer Recognition Party at First Baptist Church-Gallatin (Winchester Street). 

The following awards were presented: Church Partner of the Year--First United Methodist Church, Hendersonville; Corporate Partners of the Year--Sumner Association of Realtors, Epic Event Centre; and John Jones Volunteer of the Year--Jeff Tomlinson.
Special recognition was given to Rocky Baskerville. Rocky has served as the General Contractor for Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County since 2012. During his tenure, 23 new homes have been built and four critical home repairs have been completed. Rocky is stepping away from Habitat for Humanity to spend more time with his business. Bob Linder will be taking his place as General Contractor in 2018.
Catering was provided by Scott and Tammy Vinyard, Gallatin Country Club and music was provided by Randy Hampton, Martin Realty House. Drawing items were donated by: Smith-Sholar-Milliken; Chamberlain Realty; The Mortgage Firm; Dana & Chuck Kemp; Bruce Quinn; Jim Hawkins; and the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
