5th Annual Apostles Build Dedication

On Sunday, July 30, 2017, Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County held a Dedication Ceremony for the 2017 Apostles Build home. New home build #55 in Sumner County, located at 607 Rucker Street in Gallatin, was built by 12 churches coming together to provide volunteers, food, funds, and prayers for the project. Lisa Harris, a grandmother raising her three grandsons, will receive a zero percent interest mortgage at closing.

 
Participating churches in this 5th Annual Apostles Build were: Hendersonville Church of the Nazarene; First Presbyterian Church, Hendersonville; Good Shepherd United Methodist Church; Church of Our Saviour, Gallatin; First Baptist Church (Winchester St.); First United Methodist Church, Hendersonville (Faith Builders; Genesis; Crossroads); St. Timothy Lutheran Church; First Presbyterian Church, Gallatin; Rehoboth United Methodist Church; Prince of Peace Lutheran Church; First Baptist Church, Gallatin; and Zion Upper Room, Gallatin.
 
The Dedication Ceremony was sponsored by Zion Upper Room Church.
