The Big Payback - Build A Foundation

Apostles Build Dedication

The Apostles Build home in Gallatin for the Barr Family was dedicated on Sunday, June 8, 2014.  Over 100 people supporting the family were on-hand for the celebration!  Twelve "Apostle" churches from around Sumner County contributed to this build through funding, volunteers, and prayer.  Participating in the 2014 Apostles Build were First Baptist Church-Gallatin (electrical); First Baptist Church-Winchester (framing); First Presbyterian Church-Gallatin (landscaping); First United Methodist Church-Hendersonville (painting); Freedom Church (touch-up painting); Generation Church-Portland (food & clean-up); Good Shepherd United Methodist Church-Hendersonville (siding); Hendersonville Church of Christ (framing); Long Hollow Baptist Church (framing & clean-up); Oasis Church-Portland (insulation); Olive Tree Connections-Madison (dedication); Rehoboth United Methodist Church-Gallatin (punch-list).  Many thanks to each of these churches for their contributions to the project!

Contributions to this home were also made through the Lowe's sponsored Women Build program, a national partnership between Lowe's and Habitat for Humanity International for the week  of May 3-11, 2014.  A volunteer group from the Women Council of Realtors of Sumner County helped with the painting of the home.  Associates and management from Lowe's of Hendersonville were on-hand to contribute their time and expertise.  Lowe's also donated the paint supplies for the home.

Refreshments and house-warming gifts for the Dedication were provided by Olive Tree Connections of Madison.
