SAR Build 2017 Dedication

Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County held the Dedication Ceremony for the 2017 Sumner Association of Realtors Affiliate Build on Sunday, January 7, 2018. New Home Build #57 in Sumner County is located at 1022 Chris Drive in Portland.

This home was built for Don and Renee Livengood, first-time homeowners with adult children. Don is disabled and Renee works full-time at CashSaver Grocery in Portland. At closing, the Livengoods will receive a zero percent interest mortgage for below the appraised value of the property.

The Dedication Ceremony was sponsored by Smith-Sholar-Milliken. In addition to homeowners, Don and Renee Livengood and family members, attendees included TN State Representative, William Lamberth; Sumner County School Board Members, Tim Brewer and Jim Hawkins; Board and Staff Members from Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County; and a number of representatives from the sponsoring SAR members.
