Women Build 2017 Dedication

On Sunday, June 11, 2017, Habitat for Humanity of Sumner County held the Dedication Ceremony for its 9th Annual Women Build home. New Home build #54 in Sumner County was built for Allison Boone, a single mother of 8-year-old twins. 

The event was attended by friends and family of the Boone Family, HFHSC Board Members, and State Representative Brenda Gilmore (relative of the homeowner). 
Sponsors for this build included Business Credit Reports, The Ralston Firm, Chamberlain Realty, YAPP USA Automotive, Lowe's, Whirlpool Corporation, Dow Products, Proctor & Gamble, Norm Smith Carpentry, Valspar Paint, Reliant Bank, Tennessee Housing Development Agency, and Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati.
 
Volunteer groups included Volunteer State Community College (TN Promise); Summit Lending; Vanderbilt University Women's Soccer; Sumner Bank & Trust; YAPP USA Automotive; Edge Yoga; Station Camp Elementary School PTO; Women's Council of Realtors; Station Camp High School; Lowe's of Gallatin and Hendersonville; Lowe's Millworks; Chamberlain Realty; Gallatin Chamber of Commerce GET; and HFHSC Mid-Week Group.
 
Food for the volunteers was provided by Zaxby's, Buffalo P's, Chick-fil-a, and Buffalo Wild Wings (all of Gallatin).
The Dedication Ceremony was sponsored by First Baptist Church, Winchester St., Gallatin.
