Faith Build

Churches from across Sumner County are joining hands to sponsor and support a Faith Build! Through this collaboration, local congregations are putting their faith into action, coming together to fund and construct a home for a family in need. This shared mission reflects the power of unity and service, building not just a house, but a foundation of hope and stability for years to come.

Meet Laura

Laura, a hardworking single mother, spent years juggling two jobs and school to provide a better life for her family. For a time, all of them lived in a cramped two-bedroom apartment, and even when they moved to a larger space, it came with challenges like black mold and bitter drafts in the winter.

Determined to give her children a safe and stable home, Laura applied to Habitat for Humanity after a friend encouraged her. “I never thought it would happen for me, but I’m so glad I didn’t give up,” she shares.

Through Habitat, Laura has worked hard, learned new skills, and seen her dreams come to life. “This home will be everything we’ve hoped for—a place to feel safe, grow, and build new memories.”
